A Butler man and a teacher in the AC-Valley School District are dead following a crash yesterday morning in Mercer County.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Route 173 in Worth Township.
Police say 47-year-old Aric Adams of Clark Mills was driving north when he went into the other lane and side-swiped a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Sandra Marwick of Sandy Lake.
Marwick’s car then hit a guardrail and went into the northbound lane, colliding head on into a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Luke Mulford of Butler.
Both Marwick and Mulford died as a result of the crash.
Marwick was a teacher in the AC-Valley School District.
Adams was taken into custody and is facing charges of homicide by vehicle.
