A Butler man is facing additional charges after he allegedly assaulted a child.
Police were called to a Penn Township home last Thursday for a domestic incident. When police arrived on scene, they say 37-year-old Steven Hudson was screaming on a patio chair and under the influence.
When police spoke with the resident of the home they said Hudson is allowed to sleep at the home but only if he’s not intoxicated.
Charging documents say Hudson attempted to get into the home from the back door, but was confronted by a juvenile. While attempting to keep him out of the house, Hudson grabbed the juvenile by the neck and pushed the victim.
Before going to prison, police took Hudson to the hospital where he allegedly spit on a doctor and another member of the staff.
Hudson is facing several charges such as endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault, and disorderly conduct. He’s been placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
