A Butler man is facing up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to a federal drug charge.
41-year-old Gerry Lee Kendall pleaded guilty in court earlier this week to one count of possessing 10 grams or more of a mixture containing fentanyl.
The Department of Justice says Kendall was observed by law enforcement in June of 2021 in a high-drug trafficking area in Pittsburgh. A traffic stop and search of Kendall’s vehicle resulted in the discovery of 20 bricks of drugs along with over $1,700.
Kendall will be sentenced in March and he will face five to 40 years in prison, a fine of up to five million dollars and a term of supervised release lasting at least four years.
