A Butler man accused of hitting a disabled person on their way to a probation check in the City of Butler pled guilty and was sentenced earlier this week.
Just after 1:30 p.m. on North Main Street in July 2025, 29-year-old Stephen Call called police to tell them that he had thrown a woman to the ground because he believed she was laughing at him.
The disabled victim suffered a broken forearm and knee contusion and was taken to the hospital. Call called police to inform them of the incident and they said they would contact him at a later time.
On Tuesday Call pled guilty to this incident, along with two other incidents.
For the case Call pled guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced to 36 to 72 months in prison with 24 months or probation. This sentencing is concurrent with two other cases call pled guilty in.
Call will also pay $3,141 in fees, fines, and cost of prosecution.
