A Butler man pled guilty and was sentenced last week after being accused of assault and drug possession.
On November 22, police were called out to an apartment in the 400 block of West North Street for an alleged domestic incident.
Charging documents accused, 27-year-old Justin Thompson of injuring a woman and a neighbor. Police would also find several grams of crack-cocaine on Thompson. He pled guilty to manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and a possession charge.
Thompson would also pled guilty to another two counts of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver in two separate cases.
In total Thompson received, 5 to 10 months in confinement, with over five months of time served and 28 months of probation. He will also have to pay $5,590 in fines, fees, and cost of prosecution.
