Independence Health System is making changes to entrance hours and security at Butler Memorial Hospital beginning next week.
The Brady Street Lobby Entrance will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. but closed on weekends and holidays while the Tower Lobby Entrance will be open Monday though Friday from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. as well as Saturdays 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Also, both the Brady Street and Tower entrances will now have security personnel on duty during operating hours and all visitors entering the hospital will be screened using metal detectors.
These changes will go into effect on Monday, August 18th.
