Butler Memorial Hospital is now using new technology to help with diagnosis through digital imaging.
According to Independence Health System officials, the newly installed Cartesion Prime Digital PET/CT system delivers higher-quality images and faster scan times, along with a wider bore for improved patient comfort.
Additional updates include new flooring, lighting, wall finishes, electrical and plumbing upgrades, as well as furniture, cabinetry, staff workspace and four private patient rooms — creating a modern, patient-centered environment.
Renovations to the hospital’s imaging suite began in August of last year using funds from the hospital’s capital improvement account.
