Butler Memorial Hospital is being recognized once again for the safety of their facility.
National healthcare watchdog, The Leapfrog Group, gave the hospital an 8th consecutive “A” grade for overall safety this spring.
The grade is assessed based on 30 performance measures reflecting errors, injuries, accidents, and infections that happen inside the hospital.
Hospital officials say they continually focus on safety and quality of patient care, especially over the last four years which includes the stressful pandemic experience.
The Leapfrog Group awards the grades twice a year and makes transparent results available for free to the public.
