Butler Memorial Hospital has once again received recognition for the care of stroke patients.
According to Independence Health System, the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award signifies that Butler Memorial Hospital provides stroke patients the best treatment aligned with nationally recognized, research-based guidelines.
This is the 16th consecutive year Butler Memorial Hospital has met these standards. The hospital was further recognized with the Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite award which acknowledges adherence rates of 85% or higher to these critical, time sensitive measures.
Butler Memorial Hospital also received the Association’s Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll award for caring for diabetic patients at higher risk of complications during a stroke.
