Former Butler high school and Penguins Elite hockey forward Bekk McLaine has signed with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs of the National Collegiate Development Conference. McLaine played for the Penguins Elite under-18 squad last season and had 10 goals and 29 assists in 55 games.
In two seasons with the Butler Golden Tornado hockey team, McLaine had 17 goals and 14 assists in 32 games from 2017 to 2019. He also had scored 10 goals and had 27 assists with the Pens Elite u-16 squad in 2018-19 that included play in the USA Hockey championships
The National Collegiate Development Conference is a 12-team league that is focused on developing players for play in the NCAA. The conference has teams in six northeast states.
