The Butler Area School District has received a grant that will go toward their green initiative.
The Remake Learning organization awarded the district with a $70,000 “Moonshot Grant” toward their Growing a Green Future program, which aims to use agriculture and business as cornerstones for a more sustainable future.
Butler was one of nine schools to receive the grant from the Pittsburgh-based organization that aims to help students achieve academic success in the digital age.
