The Butler School Board has been honored by a state organization for their dedicated service.
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association presented the Butler board with the Tri-State Area School Study Council’s D. Richard Wynn Distinguished School Board Award.
The Board was recognized for its commitment to engaging and empowering the community, supporting the professional growth of educators, promoting the idea that public education is a shared responsibility, and dedication to serving local students and families.
Members of the Butler Rock Orchestra provided the opening music at the award dinner.
