The Butler boys track and field team captured their 61st annual Invitational Saturday at Butler high stadium. The Golden Tornado swept all three relay events. The team win was also bolstered by five runner-up performances. Carter Ekas was 2nd in both the 200 and 400-meter dash events. Logan Ekas runner-up in the 100. Brendan Eicher was 2nd in the mile run and Jason Wick was runner-up in the pole vault.
Butler will travel to Seneca Valley Tuesday for their final section meet of the spring. Both the Golden Tornado and Raiders are undefeated entering the meet that will determine the section championship.
