The Butler Transit Authority will be offering transportation services for next month’s NFL Draft.
From Thursday, April 23rd to Saturday, the 25th the Bus will provide direct service from the Route 528 Park and Ride in Jackson Township to the Ross Park and Ride, which connects to Route 19 and I-279.
This service will operate every 30 minutes beginning at 11 a.m. Roundtrip fare is $10 per day and exact cash is required. Riders can then hop a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus that will take them near the draft.
For the return trip, BTA passengers should board buses displaying the headsign: “99N McCandless – Ross Park & Ride Football Flyer.” Passengers must retain their pass since it will be required for boarding PRT buses and for the return trip.
Officials encourage draft attendees to get to the city by public transit and avoid parking in the North Shore due to anticipated congestion.
Regular BTA commuter service for Routes 3 and 4 will not operate on Thursday, April 23, or Friday, April 24. Routes 1 and 2 will operate as scheduled on those days.
