Butler Township will welcome a new hire to a new position next week.
Ashley Helmstaedter has been chosen as the Director of Parks and Recreation, a full-time position responsible for managing Butler Township’s parks events, rental of facilities, and promoting increased opportunities.
Helmstaedter comes to the position from previously serving as the Assistant Parks Director of Butler County so she has experience as well as involvement with existing events. She will make just over $70,000.
Helmstaedter’s first day of employment with the township will be March 24th and she will take over as the main person responsible for scheduling of township facilities like the recreation field at Pullman Business Park.
