The public is invited to a meeting later this month to hear details about the project to improve the Lyndora intersection near the Pullman Business Park in Butler Township.
Township Manager Tom Knights will conduct the meeting Wednesday, March 20th at 6 p.m. at the Butler Township Municipal Building.
Armco Drive is expected to be closed beginning April 1st with Whitestown Road down to one lane and some delays on Hansen Avenue. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers about schedules and temporary routes around the work area. The project could wrap up sometime in late October.
Township Commissioners awarded the project to Frank J. Zottola Construction in January for an amount of just under $3.4 million. The Township has received a $1.4 million grant from the state Commonwealth Financing Authority to pay for a portion of the project but continues to look for other assistance.
