Butler Township is continuing with an effort to make sure residents are receiving adequate fire service protection.
At their meeting earlier this week, the Township Commissioner Ed Natali spoke about the results of a recent fire service study presented to members of the Butler Township Fire District last week.
The study is a result of engaging a consultant last year for a closer look at changing needs, how coverage is managed throughout the Township, and retention efforts. Teams will be developed over the next six months to a year in order to implement several objectives.
This study is available to the public at the office of Director of Emergency Services Scott Frederick.
