The Butler VA has now administered 10,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses.
The shot was given to Korean War Veteran Homer Younkins over the weekend, who received his first shot at the Butler VA’s walk-in clinic that happened in mid-February.
VA officials say they just received their first shipment of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine last week.
All veterans enrolled in VA health care are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine at the Butler VA.
