Classes will resume as normal today at Grove City College following fake calls for a shooting on campus over the weekend.
It was around 4 p.m. yesterday, when police received calls for shots fired at the library of Grove City’s campus.
State police arrived along with local police and found no evidence of any shooter, or any witnesses that saw a person with a gun.
Police believe it was a computer-generated swatting call.
Investigators remained on scene for three hours; during that time Grove City College was placed on lockdown.
College officials say an all clear was issued just before 7 p.m.
“Grove City College remains committed to the safety of all students, faculty, and staff in our community,” a college spokesperson said in an email.
