Camp Lutherlyn is canceling their summer camps.
The Prospect-based ministry has been operating summer camps for kids since 1949.
Executive Director Deb Roberts said this was extremely difficult decision in a video posted to Lutherlyn’s website.
“We had to make the very difficult decision to cancel our summer camp program due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Roberts said. “The health, safety, and well-being of our campers is always our top priority.”
Roberts said the camp is currently looking at designing virtual camp activities for the summer.
