Camp Lutherlyn in Prospect is allowing some visitors on their property.
The organization is permitting family retreat weekends where families are allowed to use the cabins. There are also ‘day visits’ permitted where guests can be on site for a picnic or hike. The pool, hay ride or guided nature activities are available but for these, reservations are required.
Even though Camp Lutherlyn is open for community members to use, it is private property and is closed to the general public. Basically that means guests must be registered. No drive-ups are permitted. Lutherlyn will limit the number of guests at any given time.
Earlier this year, Lutherlyn canceled all summer camps for kids and soon after put together a complete outline of COVID-19 procedures, which has been put in place. In case of an emergency, Lutherlyn staff has access to an N95 mask to assist guests.
Each cabin is thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive. A cabin will be empty for 24 hours after it is vacated.
Anyone with symptoms is expected to cancel their visit. Masks and social distancing are required at the camp.
We have links on line where you can access Lutherlyn’s COVID-19 procedures.
