A car crashed into a fire station in Allegheny County over the weekend.
The accident happened Sunday around 3:30 p.m. when crews received a call for a car that crashed into the Harrison Hills VFC, which is just south of Freeport. Dispatchers said the car was also on fire.
An off-duty member of the Freeport Fire-EMS was able to get access to the building and was able to extinguish the vehicle fire.
There was at least one person injured and taken to the hospital.
The northbound lane of Freeport Road was closed for a time.
