One person was taken to the hospital after crashing into a utility pole and house in Summit Township.
The accident happened just after 8:30 last night in the 100 block of Chicora Road.
Dispatchers say the vehicle went off the road and hit a utility pole, shearing the pole in half. The car then continued on and hit the front porch of a home.
There was minor damage done to the porch.
Power was also knocked out in the area for a time.
One person was taken to the hospital. A portion of Chicora Road was shut down for about an hour.
