Central Electric Cooperative has opened a yearly competition for a free trip to Washington D.C.
The Youth Tour takes high school juniors to the nation’s capital for a leadership-focused trip.
The trip will include visit the Pentagon Memorial, the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian, and the Air & Space Museums. It will also feature a dinner on a cruise on the Potomac River.
The week-long trip will also have students visiting the capital building to meet with elected representatives and learn about the legislative process.
To apply you must be a high school junior who lived in a home receiving electric services from CEC. Applications must be submitted by February 6 and applications can be found online at Centeral.Coop.
