Two motorists are recovering and one could be charged following a multiple vehicle crash last week in Butler Township.
According to Butler Township Police, 39-year-old Shannon Winters of Boyers ran into the back of a vehicle at the intersection of New Castle and South Duffy Roads shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday (7/27).
That vehicle, driven by 85-year-old Marlene Crouch of Butler, was pushed into the rear of a third vehicle during the chain reaction.
Winters and Crouch were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police suspect that Winters was driving under the influence and charges are pending the results of a blood test.
