A couple of Butler County municipalities are receiving federal funding for major projects.
Congressman Mike Kelly announced over $2 million will be coming for infrastructure projects.
Cranberry Township will receive $1 million to help replace a waterline along Route 19. This will replace more than 4,000 linear feet of waterline.
Chicora was awarded $1.25 million to upgrade the water plant. Kelly says the existing plant was constructed of repurposed filtration and storage tanks. The water plant services about 1,100 people in the borough.
