A woman from China has been arrested, charged, and placed in the Butler County Prison after she was found to take part in a criminal organization.
Police have charged 46-year-old Li Chen after it’s alleged she returned a fake replica iPad.
Chen is alleged to have brought in a fake replica iPad into the Cranberry Township Target for return. Chen was granted to refund of $1,200.
It was later discovered Chen had committed a similar crime in neighboring counties and states for a total over $1 million.
She was placed in the Butler County on $100,000 bail and charged with forgery and theft by deception.
