Christopher Bell took Joe Gibbs Racing to victory lane Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Bell became the 14th difference Cup Series winner this season, and qualified for the Nascar playoffs. Bell held off last week’s winner Chase Elliott for his fourth win at the track and second Cup Series victory. He won three times in the X-finity Series there. It was the fourth win of the year for JGR.
There are six races remaining in the Cup Series regular season, and two playoff spots remain open.
Scott Dixon won the IndyCar race in Toronto Sunday, snapping a 22-race winless streak. The win was the 52nd of his career and moved Dixon into a tie with Mario Andretti on the all-time wins list. A.J. Foyt is the career leader in IndyCar with 67 victories.
