Crews were on the scene of a fire Friday morning at a downtown Butler apartment.
The first call came in around 7:10 a.m. for a fire on the second floor of an apartment complex on Cunningham Street—this was the former Manhattan Bar building.
The initial call said a woman was entrapped in her room, but officials say she made it out successfully.
There was significant smoke coming from the building as firefighters fought the flames. Most of the fire was out by 7:30 a.m.
Other details are sketchy at the moment. The cause of the fire is also unknown at this point.
