A Butler City man is in the Butler County Prison after a domestic incident led to him threatening to kill a police officer.
On Sunday just after 12:30 a.m., officers were called to an apartment on the 200 block Spring Street for a domestic incident.
When officers arrived on scene, the victims claimed 24-year-old Dalton Anthony was intoxicated and destroying the house.
After being taken into custody, Anthony made targeted threats to kill the officer that arrested him.
Antony was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $50,000 and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 18.
