The City of Pittsburgh is preparing for the 2026 NFL draft which will be held next spring. A countdown clock made its debut Monday on the North Shore near Stage AE, which displays the days remaining until the draft begins. It also honors high school football programs surrounding the Pittsburgh area. A number of renovations will be among the preparations, with the draft itself being held on the north shore near Acrisure Stadium. There will also be separate areas of activities for fans, including a significant area across the river at Point State Park.
