Butler City Council is investing in a new garage door for the streets department building.
At their Thursday night in-person meeting, Council accepted a bid from contractor James L. Abbot of West Sunbury for the purchase and install of a garage door at a cost of $2,850.
A keypad and two remote openers will be included with this new door which will replace a door of unknown age that has fallen down and is no longer functional.
Council also decided to keep the hanging baskets currently in storage at the old pool building since they did not receive any interest when they attempted to sell them but they will find a new place to store them.
