A home in the City of Butler was significantly damaged after a fire broke out Monday afternoon.
It happened shortly before 3 p.m. at a home in the 400 block of East Locust Street—which is near the intersection with North Elm Street.
A caller stated that a fire started in an apartment and all occupants were able to evacuate the building. Butler City Police reported a working fire. It appears as though at least one neighboring structure sustained exterior damage from this fire as well.
Crews from Butler Township, the Butler VA, and Butler Ambulance all assisted Butler City firefighters with battling this blaze.
