The Clearview Mall now has a new owner.
The Kohan Retail Investment Group officially took over the Center Township based mall earlier this week.
Company CEO Mike Kohan says his group has been purchasing aging malls for the past 20 years and views them as large spaces that can be for shopping, entertainment, professional services and more.
“Every mall is different, because of mall has a different use,” Kohan said. “So we have to do a study to see what kind of tenants, retail-wise or otherwise, are beneficial.”
Kohan’s group is assuming the $25 million debt owed by former owner J.J. Gumberg.
