Clemson won the College Football Playoff national championship last night with a 44-16 pounding of Alabama. Clemson put up 482 yards of total offense. It was the Tigers second title in the past three seasons. They finished the season 15-0. Alabama ends 14-1.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has been selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. He is among 14 players and two coaches who will be new inductees in December. Polamalu was a standout at the University of Southern California. This year’s class will also include the iconic Goodyear Blimp.
