Although air quality has improved, ongoing concerns have again led the state Department of Environmental Protection to issue an air quality alert.
A Code Orange Alert is in effect for all the greater Pittsburgh region.
Officials say young children, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions should reduce or eliminate outdoor activities.
Air quality concerns in some local areas could rise into the Code Red area. More information about local conditions is available on the website airnow.gov.
