Air quality concerns have led to the Department of Environmental Protection to issue a higher level air quality alert.
A Code Red Alert is in effect for Butler and surrounding counties today.
That means that air pollution concentrations within the local region are unhealthful for the general population. Officials say you should limit your time doing outdoor exercising or any strenuous activities.
The alert runs until midnight tonight.
