Butler County Commissioners say all of the requirements have been met in order for two local groups to receive reimbursements for projects.
Both the Harmony Fire District and Butler Memorial Hospital received RACP Grants to help with construction and program projects.
However, the program requires a taxing government body to sign onto the grant in order to receive the money. Butler County agreed to sign for both contracts.
Commissioners are urging agencies that apply for the RACP grants to be aware they need to partner with a taxable government entity in order to qualify for the grant.
