In honor of the Memorial Day there are services planned across Butler County this weekend.
On Saturday, Prospect will be having a parade downtown Main Street starting at 11 a.m.
On Sunday, Cranberry Township will hold a remembrance ceremony day at 1 p.m. at the North Boundary Park. In Evans City later that day a public service will be held at the Commentary on Franklin Road. If there is inclement weather the ceremony will be moved to Westminster United Presbyterian Church.
Memorial Day there will be a parade in Chicora starting at 10 a.m. with a ceremony to take place on Main Street. The Saxonburg parade will also start at 10 a.m. and end at Roebling Park with a traditional ceremony.
Finally, the Butler County Memorial Day Parade will start at 10:40 a.m. on Main Street and be followed by a ceremony at Diamond Park.
