A longtime local firefighter and sports official has recently passed away.
James “Jim” Senopole of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Senopole was a lifetime member of the Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department. He was also an active member of the Butler Umpires Association and officiated numerous sports including basketball, baseball, and football.
Jim Senopole was 85 years old.
