Construction of the new Butler Senior Center continues to progress.
County commissioners approved over $50,000 in change orders at yesterday’s public meeting.
There have been issues along the way with the renovation of the former Butler Health and Fitness Center, which is being converted into the new Butler Senior Center.
The building will also house the Area Agency on Aging and Veteran Services.
Commissioners say with the ongoing construction, they’re optimistic the center will open by next summer.
