A Westmoreland County man has been charged in Butler County for home improvement fraud.
In December 2025, the victims signed a contract with Larry Wing of Crabtree, and owner of LW Contracting, for stone veneer and siding work on their Jefferson Township home.
Wing is alleged to have told the victims he would begin work in February weather dependent. The victims would pay Wing, $9,835 in December for materials but work never began in February.
When the victims were able to finally contact Wing in May he said he would return materials and payment but by July neither had been returned.
Wing has been charged with receives advance payment for services and fails to preform and theft by deception.
A preliminary hearing date has not been set.
