Butler County is set to receive a similar amount in Community Development Block Grants for this upcoming year.
The annual state grant program provides funding for five different municipalities in the county to help with a variety of projects.
There will be just over $930,000 in CDBG funding this year that will go toward projects in Jackson, Jefferson, Penn, Slippery Rock, and Summit Townships. The funding is down $800 compared to last year.
