Butler County Commissioners have approved a proposed settlement with a number of opioid manufacturers.
The expected amount is just above $9 million for the county and would be a part of the Pennsylvania Opioid Misuse and Addiction Abatement Trust, which would oversee the distribution of funds.
Commissioners pointed out that there were still a number of steps involved at the state and federal level before this money would come into the county.
