Butler County Commissioners have approved a resolution that will see the county enter into an agreement with another opioid settlement.
This is part of statewide settlement that the attorney general’s office reached with Teva, Allergan, CVS, Walmart, and Walgreens.
By approving this resolution, it will help setup the process to handle the funds when they become available. There’s no specific number, but commissioners estimate the settlement could bring the county over $9 million.
This is a separate agreement compared to the opioid settlement funds that were accepted earlier this year.
