The latest data from the state Department of Health shows that Butler County’s COVID positivity rate has almost fallen to 5 percent.
Over the last seven days, the PCR positivity rate is at 5.2 percent. The CDC considers anything below five percent as low transmission.
However, the weekly number of cases slightly increased over the last seven days. There were 19 more cases compared to last week—but hospitalizations have remained low in the county.
