Butler County is helping advance nearly a dozen park projects in the community.
The annual Local Park Renovation Grants were announced at last week’s commissioner meeting, and they will provide up to $10,000 to help with park projects.
10 different projects were selected out of 14 applications.
The county is contributing over $88,000 to these projects.

- Connoquenessing Borough: New fencing around pickleball court, new basketball hoops, and 8 bollards in front of basketball court

- Cranberry Township: Purchase and installation of amentities for a new outdoor fitness area at Graham Park

- Evans City Borough: New electric sign to replace existing sign

- Harmony Borough: Resurfacing hiking trail with new limestone, new picnic table, and new swing at the Old School House

- Marion Township: Installation of new concrete cornhole, updated park entrance sign, and new curb stops
