Butler County leaders are exploring options to clear overgrown trees and limbs at Alameda Park.
Commissioners received a proposal from a company for forestry management on park property. However, they expressed reservations that the market for timber may not currently be at its best.
They also wanted to have further conversations with park leaders to ensure that there are no safety concerns along the trails at Alameda Park.
The last time trees were removed at Alameda Park was in 2010.
