Butler County’s government center and courthouse now have naloxone kits available for residents who need them.
Donna Jenereski of the county’s drug and alcohol prevention team says they are also available to offer training sessions on how to use Narcan to businesses and other organizations.
“We bring the kits and help organizations or businesses with a small training session so they understand how to use the kits,” Jenereski said.
Jenereski said groups can reach out to the Drug and Alcohol Prevention team at the county to learn more about training sessions.
The addition of naloxone kits to the courthouse is a part of a statewide initiative to make the overdose reversal drug more available.
