Butler County officials say progress continues to be made on the new office for a local district magistrate.
Judge Kevin O’Donnell’s office is moving from the Sunnyview complex to the former Friedman’s headquarters on Fairground Hill Road.
Most of the parking lot updates have been completed, with lighting as the next step. Officials say that they had to build additions to the foundations in order to meet code.
County officials say the timeline is still not clear as to when it will be ready for staff to move in, but are optimistic that it could happen in early 2024.
